The idea for this site came to me when I received craft beers from a brewery that I did not know as a gift. I then said to myself that a site listing all the craft beers would be more than useful to discover the beers brewed in the Jura.

Two months pass then the creation finally begins. A first version of the site was put online a month later and the interest of brewers continued to grow. The site is officially launched on May 26, 2018.

A little less than a year after its creation, the site has been translated into 3 languages and now lists all the Swiss craft breweries (~ 1050) and more than 5000 beers.

In July 2020, I Love Beer exceeded the 10,000 referenced beers 🥳
